When it comes to creating a landscape design, it really comes down to what the home owner is looking for and what type of style they want to have for their backyard. For this specific job our client was not sure what style he wanted because he couldn’t pick between, modern, tropical and oriental…so we did a little bit of everything!
We used the following to come up with this design in Parkland FL:
Tropical: Palm Trees & Plants
Modern: Jacuzzi & Pavers
Oriental: Stones & Pebbles
We also installed an aluminum pergola for shade (which is always money well spent because of the scorching heat of South Florida) and it really ties everything together.
It’s okay if you’re not sure what to do for your backyard or front yard, or if you have so many ideas that you don’t know where to start. Also, don’t think that you have to narrow it down to any specifc style! Thats really the beauty of designing backyards and front yards, they can be personalized to fit your personality and ideas. The only limitation when it comes to creating landscape designs is weather, but because this landscape installation was created in South Florida (Parkland), we had many beautiful options to choose from and combine. South Florida probably has the best selection of plants and trees to choose from to create any style you like.
